Diversity scholarships

The useR! 2017 diversity scholarship program is intended to provide an opportunity for traditionally under-represented individuals (such as, but not limited to, LGBTQ people, women, ethnic minorities, or those with disabilities) who might not otherwise be able to attend due to logistical or financial constraints.

We hope to award as many scholarships as our funding allows based on a combination of need and impact. Selections will be made by a committee of reviewers chosen by the Forwards taskforce (http://forwards.github.io/).
Questions or comments welcome at diversity@user2017.brussels.

The deadline for applications was April 1, 2017. The committee for diversity scholarships will send notifications on the scholarships awarded on May 1, 2017.
